Tasks:
- The pitch will be a detailed summary of the tasks we are to complete (8 slides)
- Each slide in the pitch will link to a task
Motive:
Our company purely makes opening titles to be recognised by bigger companies who will produce our movie.
In our pitch we will:
- Introduce ourselves, create a company logo
- What we are doing
- Who is our typical target audience profile, demographics, psychographics
- Nice visual summary
- Concept and USP, What happens in the opening? Narrative and genre? What style are we going for (film noir)? USP: What is different about our thriller compared to other thrillers? Intertextuality and links?
- Shot list and storyboard, give a brief description of shots and how they will engage the audience (at least 40 shots prepared with a detailed storyboard for a higher grade)
- MeS: Ideas? Props? Style? Genre and sub-genre? Actors? Locations?
- Typography and Ident, How are our titles going to be shown? Create an opening timeline for your thriller, label titles. Get screenshots from thrillers of influence

- Sound and effects, What soundtrack have you chosen/going to make?
- What thriller has influenced our sound?
- Risk assessment, Potential hazards in the film and how will we overcome them
